Safe Talk & Play Sessions are for preschool and young children who have been exposed to violence and abuse.

Kids have a chance to draw, play and talk to a friendly and safe adult in short sessions.

Transforming Anger is an eight to twelve
week group experience for children and young people who have been in violent situations and have problems feeling angry. These sessions give young people a chance to talk out thier feelings, explore what's underneath their anger, and figure out ways to stay safe.

The Chances & Changes Program is a series of 8 to 12 educational sessions for older children and adolescents who are at risk for violence. The program helps them express things in their lives that can create positive change, and they are encouraged by supportive adults who help them beleive in second chances.

Reflect Respect is a new Safe Places program developed to provide sexual violence prevention education that is more comprehensive and socioculturally relevant for our community. The program fosters empathy, intuition, communication, safe bystander responsibility, self-identity, respect for self and others, positive community attachments, and community partnerships to end sexual, and dating violence, bullying and sexual harassment

Our Groups meet every week and work with more than 350 children and young people. The participants are involved in group experiences that promote safe and healthy relationships or in groups that help young people understand and transform anger.

Groups are held in several locations throughout the community.
