The mission of Safe Places is to create communities where every child is protected, every home is a safe place, and where every person can live a life free from violence.
Our Promises
Safe Places fulfills two promises.
To victims of violence:
We listen when they are in crisis, counsel when
they feel uncertain, fight to uphold their rights as
victims, and guide them as they work to
re-establish their lives.
To communities:
We educate individuals in homes, schools and
neighborhoods, and challenge them to join
together to prevent violence.
The Vision of Safe Places
Safe Places envisions a world without violence ~ a world in which every person experiences safety, protection, nurture, and opportunities that ensure a future filled with hope.
